Golden Flow was made at the rocky foreshore of the Sunshine Coast at sunrise – the water running off the rock platform and back into the sea in a thin, continuous sheet, the movement of the water captured in a long exposure that turns it into a flowing gold surface. The rock platform, still and dark, provides the contrast. The sky above is the source of the colour that gives the image its name.
