Marcoola Beach is the stretch of Sunshine Coast between Mudjimba and Coolum – a long, east-facing beach with consistent surf and some of the best sunrise photography access on the coast. At the right time of year, the sun rises almost directly off the ocean, and when the sky cooperates the colour on the water can be extraordinary.
