Marcus Beach sits between Noosa and Peregian on the Sunshine Coast’s northern beaches – a relatively uncrowded stretch of surf beach with the kind of clean, consistent swell that the region is known for. From the air, at the right angle, the geometry of the beach becomes visible in a way it never is from the sand: the parallel lines of swell approaching from the south-east, the way the beach curves slightly as it stretches north, the patchwork of coastal vegetation behind the dunes.
