Maroochydore Beach is one of the Sunshine Coast’s most consistent surf breaks – a long, open beach with a right-hand peak that works in a solid south-east swell. From the right elevated vantage point on a good morning, with the light coming in from the north-east, the wave faces light up and the whole break becomes photographic in a way it simply isn’t from beach level (this Maroochydore surf photo is one of my favs).
