There’s a point at the northern end of Mooloolaba Beach where the sandy foreshore gives way to rocky reef, and at low tide a narrow channel runs between the beach and the offshore rocks before opening into the ocean. On a calm morning, the water in that channel runs like glass. This image was made looking north along that channel toward the open ocean, the beach on the left, the reef on the right, and the soft light of early morning on everything.
