Pinbarren is a small farming community in the Noosa hinterland – the kind of place most people drive through without stopping. But in the right light, the rolling hills and open farmland of this part of Queensland carry a quiet, unhurried beauty that the coast, for all its drama, can’t quite match (and one of my favourite spots to shoot a Noosa hinterland photo).
