Yandina Creek drains part of the Sunshine Coast hinterland and runs through the flat farm country south of Yandina before joining the Maroochy River. After major flood events, the creek bursts its banks and the surrounding paddocks go under. The Flood was made in one of those events – the water spreading across the frame, the surrounding farmland becoming a shallow lake, the trees and fence lines standing in water where normally they’d be in open paddock.

Yandina Flood is a 3:1 panoramic fine art print of flooding on Yandina Creek in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Queensland, photographed when the creek has broken its banks and spread across the surrounding farmland. The wide 3:1 format captures the full extent of the flood – the water stretching from edge to edge of the frame, the submerged landscape taking on a new and temporary geography.

Available as a fine art photographic print, stretched canvas, or glass print. Free shipping Australia-wide.
